Crumpsall stabbing: Police make attempted murder arrest

A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a man was stabbed at a house in north Manchester.

Greater Manchester Police said a 22-year-old received "a number of wounds" at a property in Crumpsall at about 07:50 GMT on Friday.

He is currently in hospital in a serious but stable condition.

Greater Manchester Police said a 26-year-old man was arrested in the Pendleton area and remains in custody for questioning.
