M60 fatal collision: Victim named as Evan Roy D'aguilar

A man who died in a motorway car crash in Greater Manchester has been named.

Evan Roy D'aguilar, 74, known as Roy, was killed when his red Skoda hit a black BMW at Junction 19 of the M60, near Heaton Park, on the morning of 13 March.

A police investigation into the circumstances of the crash is ongoing.

Mr D'aguilar's family have released a statement urging witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

They described him as "a much-loved partner, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and uncle" who will be "sorely missed".

Mr D'aguilar was originally from Jamaica but had lived much of his life in the Greater Manchester area, most recently in Bury, the family added.
