Attempted murder arrests after man stabbed in Sharston

A man is critically ill in hospital after being stabbed in Greater Manchester.

The 25-year-old was found with a single stab wound to his chest at a property on Chesham Avenue, Sharston, Wythenshawe, at about 03:20 BST.

He was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital for surgery.

Two men, aged 21 and 22, and two women, aged 45 and 25, have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and are being questioned by police.
