A 21-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a man was shot in the chest in Salford.

The 33-year-old victim remains in a stable condition in hospital after the incident at about 21:25 BST on Saturday in Mill Hill, Little Hulton.

A woman, 39, and a 45-year-old man have also been arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice.

Police believe the shooting is linked to a feud between two organised crime groups in Little Hulton.

They are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen a silver Peugeot in the area at the time of the incident.
