Wythenshawe murder inquiry: Man arrested after stabbing

A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a fatal stabbing in Manchester, police have said.

Shaun Murphy, 38, died in hospital after was he was found injured in Greenbrow Road, Wythenshawe on Saturday.

A 23-year-old man is in custody for questioning, Greater Manchester Police said.

Det Ch Insp Jane Higham said: "This investigation is still in it's early stages and we are continuing to follow a number of lines of inquiry."
