A 21-year-old man has been charged with the murder of a man found collapsed in a street in Liverpool.

David Gary Skelly, 53, was attacked shortly before he fell near a row of shops in Scargreen Avenue, Norris Green, last Tuesday.

He died in hospital later. A post-mortem examination revealed the cause of his death was head injuries.
