Appeal over racist graffiti find in Warrington

Racist graffiti has been sprayed on the walls of a shop in Cheshire, prompting a police appeal.

The black and white graffiti was discovered at the shop in Thelwall Lane, Warrington, at about 0900 GMT on Saturday.

A spokeswoman for Cheshire Police said it was "racist and threatening in content".

Any witnesses or anyone with information is asked to contact Cheshire police.
