The Saturdays The Saturdays will be performing at the Liverpool Echo Arena

The Saturdays will take to the stage in Liverpool on Saturday 3 December. Frankie, Mollie, Una, Vanessa and Rochelle will be performing material from their forthcoming - and as yet unnamed album at the Liverpool Echo Arena. The Saturdays are famous for nine Top 10 UK singles including huge hits Higher feat Flo Rida, Missing You and Ego.

The Ting Tings bring their 'Show Me Yours' tour to Liverpool on 26 November. Their first UK tour for two years will visit intimate venues across the country. The duo will perform at The Stanley Theatre, Liverpool Guild of Students.

Arts and Culture

Calendar Girls is coming from the West End to the Liverpool Empire from 21-26 November. The production of Tim Firth's play, starring Lynda Bellingham, Debbie Chazen, Camilla Dallerup, Jennifer Ellison, Jan Harvey, Rula Lenska, Ruth Madoc and June Watson, persuade one another to pose for a charity calendar with a difference. Bruno Langley and Joe McGann also star.

The annual St Helens Open Art Exhibition returns to The Godfrey Pilkington Art Gallery. Artists of all abilities aged 16 or over, who live, work or study in the borough, are given the chance to showcase their work. The display features glass, sculpture, painting, drawing, printmaking, mixed media, photography, video and other digital media. The exhibition runs until 17 December 2011.


If you've ever thought about going veggie but didn't know where to start, Viva!'s Incredible Veggie Roadshow will visit Liverpool Town Hall on 26 November to help you out. The event features everything from recipes and nutritional advice to demonstrations and fact sheets.

Pillbox Vintage Fairs will be hosting a retro fair as part of Port Sunlight's Christmas Fayre on Saturday 3 December. There will be an eclectic mix of stalls offering perfect vintage outfits, accessories, jewellery, re-customised and reworked vintage clothing and home ware.
