Parents' tribute to Liverpool flat fall victim Paul MacAulay
The parents of a Wirral man who died after falling from an apartment block in Liverpool city centre have paid tribute to their "beautiful boy".
Paul MacAulay, 19, fell from a ledge into Victoria Street during a party at about 01:00 BST on Thursday.
Police believe he went on to the ledge with friends who were smoking, and then fell.
His parents, Ian MacAulay and Angela Yates, said: "We have so many memories of Paul that we will always treasure."
They added: "He was a kind, beautiful boy who was always very considerate and loved by all his friends, family and girlfriend.
"He had a great sense of humour and never had a bad word to say about anyone. He was a credit to those who knew him."
Police said they are investigating what led to the fall and are currently treating his death as unexplained.
