Police probe man's collapse death in Liverpool

Police are investigating the death of a 71-year-old man who was found collapsed in Liverpool.

The man was discovered near the Holt pub in Kensington at about 11:00 BST. He was taken to hospital but died soon afterwards.

Police believe he had been in the nearby William Hill bookmakers before he collapsed and had a "heated discussion" with an other man.

Officers want to speak to the man and anyone with any information.

The man the victim was seen talking to was described as aged about 60, about 6ft, with grey hair and glasses. He is thought to have been wearing a beige coat.
