Man arrested over fatal shooting of Kevin Gott

A man has been arrested on suspicion of the murder of a man who was fatally shot in Liverpool.

The 24-year-old man from the Anfield area is being interviewed by detectives about the death of Kevin Gott.

Mr Gott, 25, from Anfield, was found lying in Brayfield Road, Norris Green, at about 22:10 BST on 30 August.

A post-mortem examination confirmed he died from a single bullet wound to the head, Merseyside Police said.
