Two arrested after shots fired at van in Norris Green

Two men have been arrested by police investigating shots which were fired at a van in Liverpool.

Police said two men on a scrambler bike fired up to 13 shots at a white Ford Transit van in Whinhowe Road in Norris Green at about 12:00 BST on Monday.

Both the bike and the van left the scene following the incident and it is not believed anyone was hurt.

The men, aged 20, were arrested on suspicion of causing criminal damage with intent.

One was arrested on Monday night and the second on Tuesday morning, police said.

They are due to be questioned later.
