BBC Radio Merseyside Christmas Toy Appeal 2011
BBC Radio Merseyside has launched its Christmas Toy Appeal to help underprivileged children and young people across Merseyside.
The annual appeal helps to ensure every child in Merseyside can open a present at Christmas.
It is a joint venture between Lions International, the Liverpool Echo and Greggs the Bakers to provide gifts for underprivileged children and young people across Merseyside.
A record 15,000 toys were collected in 2010 for children who may not otherwise have received gifts over the Christmas period.
BBC Radio Merseyside are currently collecting new and unwrapped toys for children aged up to 17.
Gifts of all sizes are welcome at BBC Radio Merseyside in Hanover Street, the Liverpool Daily Post and Echo in Old Hall Street or at participating branches of Greggs the Bakers until Friday 16 December 2011.
