A 30-year-old shop worker has died after being stabbed in the neck while working in a Merseyside store.

Merseyside Police said the man was found with a knife wound to his neck at Stanley News on Kingsway in Huyton at about 21:00 GMT on Tuesday.

He was taken to hospital but died shortly afterwards. A murder investigation has begun.
