Man killed in M57 crash is named

A Merseyside man who died in a car crash on the M57 has been named by police.

Paul Traynor, 30, from Huyton, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which happened on Tuesday.

Emergency services were called to junction three of the M57 to a report that a red Ford Focus had come off the carriageway.

Police have started an investigation in a bid to determine what caused the car to leave the carriageway.
