Two men charged over Wirral bar attack death

Two men have been charged in connection with the death of a man after he was attacked in a Wirral bar.

John Burns, 32, of Alford Close, Prenton, has been charged with manslaughter and perverting the course of justice.

Tony Clark, 36, of Old Chester Road, Birkenhead, has been charged with perverting the course of justice.

Kenneth Wylde, 32, from Birkenhead, was attacked at The Wine Lodge in Charing Cross in the town on 10 February.

He died in hospital a week later.

Both charged men have been bailed to appear at Liverpool Crown Court on 14 March.
