Liverpool man dies from torso stab wounds

A murder investigation is under way following the death of a man in Norris Green, Liverpool.

The man was found by officers at a property on New Hall Lane at about 16:00 GMT on Monday.

He has yet to be formally identified but he is believed to be David Corridon.

Paramedics treated him at the scene for multiple stab wounds but he died before he could reach hospital.

A post-mortem examination is currently taking place.

Police have placed a cordon around the property and have conducted house-to-house inquiries in the area.

A search of the area has also taken place.
