Teenager arrested over West Derby shooting

A 14-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with a shooting in Liverpool.

Police were called to reports that shots were fired in Snowberry Road, West Derby, on Monday evening.

A short time later an 18-year-old man was taken to hospital from a nearby house with gunshot wounds.

The teenager has been arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life, Merseyside Police said.

He has been taken to a police station on Merseyside where he will be interviewed by detectives.

Two men, aged 20 and 23, have previously been arrested on the same charge and released on bail.
