Nathan Taylor: Police confirm body is missing teen

A body found in Latchford Locks is that of a teenager who went missing a week ago, police have confirmed.

Nathan Taylor, 18, had been at the Bridge Bar in Latchford village with family and friends last Saturday.

He was last seen leaving the bar alone at about 23:30 GMT. Police had been searching the locks on Friday and his body was found later that day.

Police said there are no suspicious circumstances and the coroner will be informed.

A statement from the force said: "The thoughts of Cheshire Police and the communities of Warrington are very much with Nathan′s family during this difficult time.

"Cheshire Police would like to thank all members of the public who came forward with information and offers for help while the search for Nathan was ongoing."
