Drugs worth £4m have been seized from a house in Liverpool and five arrests have been made.

The arrests were made at a house in Upper Parliament Street, Merseyside Police said.

A 28-year-old man from London and four women aged 28, 35, 38 and 58 from south Liverpool were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply.

During a search, a large quantity of brown powder - believed to be heroin - was recovered.
