Liverpool heroin raid: Man in court on drug charge

A man is due to appear in court charged with conspiracy to supply class A drugs after a raid in Liverpool.

Perver Koker, 28, from Ida Road, Tottenham, London, will appear at Liverpool Magistrates' Court later.

Heroin worth £4m was seized from a house in Upper Parliament Street, Liverpool, on Monday.

Four women from South Liverpool aged 28, 35, 38 and 58 also arrested, have been released on bail pending further inquiries, Merseyside Police said.

Update November 2017: Perver Koker admitted possessing heroin with intent to supply and in June 2014 was sentenced to seven and a half years in prison.
