Newton-le-Willows factory death: Worker named as George Howley

A worker who died when his arm became trapped in machinery at a factory in Merseyside, has been named by police.

George Howley, 49, "sustained injuries while operating machinery" at Secure Disposals Services on Suez Street, Newton-le-Willows near St Helens on Monday.

Police said a post-mortem examination had yet to be carried out.

An investigation by police and the Health and Safety Executive has started.
