Formby football fan, 10, wins sleepover with the FA Cup
A 10-year-old Merseyside football fan has impressed friends by winning a sleepover with the FA Cup.
Daniel Griffin, from Formby, spent almost 24 hours with the famous trophy after entering a prize draw.
The Everton fan, who plays for Formby Junior Sports Club, said he had been "lifting it and putting it on my head".
The FA said the competition was launched to introduce "a new generation to the magic of the world's oldest domestic football competition".
Former Everton striker Graeme Sharp presented Daniel with the trophy. Sharp scored in Everton's 2-0 win over Watford in the 1984 FA Cup Final.
During the cup's stay with Daniel, two security guards were stationed outside the house.
The schoolboy added: "We haven't been to sleep because the FA Cup has been in our house."
