Death of St Helens woman treated as 'unexplained'

A missing woman's death is being treated as unexplained by police after her body was found in Merseyside.

The body of Angela Edwards, 38, from St Helens, who was reported missing on Friday, was found in undergrowth on land near Sutton Brook on Saturday.

The results of a post-mortem examination have been withheld by police pending the results of toxicology tests.

Police said a man, aged 38, arrested on suspicion of murder, has been bailed.
