Man, 65, killed in two-car crash in Fazakerley is named

A 65-year-old man killed in a car crash in north Liverpool has been named.

William Tillston was hit by a car thought to have been travelling on the wrong side of the road at about 01:30 BST in Long Lane, Fazakerley on Sunday.

He died at the scene. His 52-year-old female passenger was taken to hospital suffering from shock and minor injuries.

The Volvo driver, a 24-year-old man, was seriously injured and police are looking for two men who fled the scene.
