Kevin Wilson murder: Man, 30, arrested in shooting probe
Police investigating the murder of a teenager in Liverpool have arrested a man as part of their investigation into his death.
Kevin Wilson, 17, died in hospital after he was shot in the back in Wavertree on Saturday.
A post-mortem examination confirmed he died from a single gunshot wound.
A 30-year-old man from the Smithdown Road area remains in custody on suspicion of attempting to pervert the course of justice and theft.
Merseyside Police officers performed CPR on the shot teenager, originally from Lanarkshire, but he was later pronounced dead in hospital.
The scene of the shooting near the junction of Smithdown Road and Holmes Street remained cordoned off until Monday afternoon.
