Police investigating the murder of 17-year-old Kevin Wilson have raided a home in Liverpool.

Armed officers stormed the property in Wendall Street, Toxteth, at about 15:45 GMT.

However, no arrests were made and police released no further information about why the home was targeted.

The teenager, originally from Lanarkshire, died from a single gunshot wound to his back after being shot in Wavertree last weekend.

A 24-year-old man from Toxteth was arrested on Friday in connection with the inquiry and later bailed.

Two men, aged 37 and 54, and a 37-year-old woman - who were arrested on Wednesday on suspicion of murder - have also been bailed, alongside a 30-year-old man arrested on suspicion of attempting to pervert the course of justice.
