Kevin Wilson shooting: Police arrest 21-year-old man

A 21-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of the murder of Kevin Wilson in Liverpool.

The 17-year-old, originally from Lanarkshire, Scotland, died from a single gunshot wound to his back after being shot in Wavertree on 7 February.

The man is the fifth person to be arrested on suspicion of murder by police during the investigation.

Three men, aged 24, 37 and 54, and a 37-year-old woman, have all been held and subsequently bailed.

A 30-year-old man arrested on suspicion of attempting to pervert the course of justice was also released on bail.
