A man has admitted stabbing his parents to death at their home in Liverpool.

Paul Brown, 73, and Dorothy Brown, 66, were found at a property on Huskisson Street, Toxteth, last September.

While Timothy Brown denied murdering them, Liverpool Crown Court accepted the 47-year-old's guilty plea on two counts of manslaughter.

Brown, of Devonshire Road, Toxteth - who appeared via videolink - has been detained at Ashworth Hospital, Maghull until sentencing on 16 March.
