Liverpool stabbing: Man charged over attack on 70-year-old outside pub
A man has been charged with wounding after a 70-year-old man was stabbed outside a pub.
The victim was stabbed outside the Blarney Stone in Renshaw Street in Liverpool city centre on Monday.
He was was taken to hospital where his condition was critical initially but is now described as stable.
Merseyside Police said a 55-year-old man had been charged with wounding with intent and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
