Power is restored to 1,000 homes in central Norfolk
Power has been restored to more than 1,000 homes in Norfolk that suffered an electricity cut on Wednesday in temperatures barely above freezing.
Engineers from UK Power Networks put the power back on to the homes in North Walsham and the surrounding area at about 1600 GMT on Wednesday.
UK Power said the cut was caused by a fault on a high voltage network just before 1000 GMT on Wednesday.
The firm apologised to those without power "in such cold weather".
