Murder inquiry opens after body found in King's Lynn

A murder inquiry has started after the body of a man was found in a house in West Norfolk.

The body was found at a property in Leicester Avenue, King's Lynn, late on Saturday afternoon.

Officers from the Norfolk and Suffolk Joint Major Investigation Team have begun an inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

The man's identity has not been confirmed and a post-mortem examination will take place on Sunday, police said.
