Norfolk police given more time to quiz murder suspect
Police have been given more time to question a man following the death of a man in a town in Norfolk.
David Williams, 31, was found stabbed to death at his home in Leicester Avenue, King's Lynn, on Saturday.
Officers have until Thursday night to question a 27-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder.
A man and a woman who were also arrested as part of the inquiry have been released on bail pending further inquiries.
Det Ch Insp Jes Fry said officers wanted to speak to anyone who was in the area of De Grey Road or Bagge Road between 1915 GMT and 1945 GMT on 11 March.
An appeal for information regarding a discarded pair of black trainers in the College Road area has resulted in a member of the public contacting officers about a pair of shoes in a garden, police said.
