More of the biggest names in urban music have been signed up for a festival at the Norfolk Showground, scheduled for 3 to 4 September.

Professor Green, Eliza Doolittle and Alexandra Burke are to play at the two day Norfolk Spectacular festival.

Organisers hope that the calibre of acts will help establish Norwich on the music festival circuit.

Concert spokesman Dion Clements said: "It's looking highly likely this festival will become an annual event."

The latest additions will join the likes of N-Dubz, Tinie Tempah and Tinchy Stryder at the festival that is hoped will bring tens of thousands of people to the city.

Mr Clements said: "Bringing all these top-drawer artists together for one huge outdoor weekend festival is phenomenal.

"Each and every one of the performers are at the top of their game."

Taio Cruz, Yasmin, Maverick Sabre, Chase and Status, Chipmunk, Labrinth, Devlin and Example will also be appearing at the two-day event.
