Human remains found in Norfolk's Thetford Forest

Human remains have been found in a Norfolk forest.

They were found in an isolated location in Thetford Forest, near Mundford by a member of the public on Friday night.

Police believe the remains could those of a person from Eastbourne, Sussex, who was reported missing in February 2006.

A detailed search of the area is taking place on Sunday. A Norfolk Constabulary spokesman said they were not treating the death as suspicious.

Police said they are working with Sussex Police in order to establish the identity of the remains.
