Teenager charged over Caister fatal car crash

A teenager involved in a crash in Norfolk in which a 15-year-old boy was killed has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving.

The collision happened on 2 February when a Ford Fiesta, which which was being followed by police, hit a wall in High Street, Caister.

Ryan Youngman, a passenger in the car, died in the crash.

Luke Barnes, 18, from Gorleston, has been charged in connection with the crash.

He is due to appear in court in September charged with causing death by dangerous driving, causing death by dangerous driving while uninsured and with aggravated vehicle taking.

Mr Barnes spent several weeks in hospital recovering from injuries before being charged.
