Hemel Hempstead arrest over stabbing of boy, 15

A 17-year-old youth has been arrested after a boy was stabbed in an attack in Hertfordshire.

Police were called to Vauxhall Road in Adeyfield in Hemel Hempstead at about 22:30 BST on Tuesday.

A 15-year-old boy was taken to Watford General Hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.

Road closures remained in place in the town on Wednesday morning. The arrested boy, from Hemel Hempstead, is being held on suspicion of assault.
