Men held over death of man outside Norfolk pub

Two men have been arrested after a man in his 20s died following an incident outside a Norfolk pub.

Police were called to Mardle Road, in Toft Monks, Norfolk, at 03:15 GMT following reports of a "disturbance" near the White Lion.

The victim died from his injuries in hospital. His death is being treated as unexplained.

The men, aged 38 and 45, are being held in custody after being arrested in connection with the incident.

An ambulance service spokeswoman said paramedics were called to the scene after reports the man had stopped breathing.

He was pronounced dead after being taken to the James Paget Hospital, in Gorleston.

Post-mortem tests will take place later.

Norfolk police are appealing for witnesses to contact them.
