A 50-year-old Norfolk holiday firm that recently went into administration has been bought out by another travel company, its new owners have confirmed.

Australian-owned Ozbus, based in Cambridgeshire, said it had bought King's Lynn's Harrison Holidays.

The company went into administration in November following a difficult trading period, its administrators said.

The new owner said it would continue to run as many of its scheduled coach trips as possible.

Ozbus said they had also planned to reopen Harrison's former shop on King's Lynn's High Street.

"We're pretty hopeful that we can take this forward successfully," said Ozbus operations manager Stephen Nattrass.

"It's a good brand, it's got a good history, it's got some very loyal clients, and we like that."
