New arrest in Barry Reeve murder inquiry in Norwich

A second woman has been arrested by police in connection with the murder of a retired bus conductor in Norwich.

Police said a 30-year-old woman was detained in Cambridgeshire and is being questioned at Wymondham Police Investigation Centre.

Kelly Louise Barnes, 31, has appeared before Norwich magistrates charged with the murder.

The body of Barry Reeve, 67, was discovered at his home in Corton Road, Norwich, on 26 February.

Post-mortem tests found he died from injuries sustained in an assault.

Ms Barnes, from Bixley Close in Norwich, is due to appear at Norwich Crown Court for another preliminary hearing on Tuesday.
