Police have been given a 36-hour extension to continue questioning a 30-year-old woman in connection with the murder of a retired bus conductor in Norwich.

The body of Barry Reeve, 67, was discovered at his home in Corton Road, Norwich, on 26 February.

A woman, detained in Cambridgeshire on Monday, remains in custody at Wymondham Police Investigation Centre.

Norwich Magistrates granted police the extension.

Kelly Louise Barnes, 31, has been charged with the murder of Mr Reeve.

Ms Barnes, of Bixley Close, Norwich, was remanded in custody when she appeared before Norwich Crown Court earlier.

She will appear at the same court to enter a plea to the charge on 16 May.
