Overnight snow and surface water from heavy rain has caused difficult driving conditions across Norfolk.

The Environment Agency has put three flood warnings in place for the River Waveney and the River Tas, near the A47 bridge.

Brooke Primary School just outside Norwich is closed because of flooding in the main school building.

Norfolk Fire Service had to rescue five people from their cars over the weekend when they became stuck in flood water.

Stuart Horth, from the fire service, said motorists should take extra care in the difficult conditions.

"People don't always realise how deep the water is," he said.

"We've rescued five people from floods and we've attended around 30 flooding incidents."

Norfolk County Council said gritting lorries had been out overnight to try and keep the roads clear.
