Former boxing world champion Herbie Hide has appeared in court charged with conspiring to supply cocaine.

Mr Hide, of Bawburgh, near Norwich, entered no plea at the city's magistrates' court.

The alleged offence happened between 29 January and 2 February.

The 41-year-old, who held the World Boxing Organisation (WBO) heavyweight title twice, was released on unconditional bail to attend Norwich Crown Court in May.
