Three people have been interviewed by police in connection with the death of a patient at a Norfolk mental health care hospital.

Michael Campion, 49, from East Rudham, was at Hellesdon Hospital near Norwich when he had a "medical emergency" on 1 October. He died three days later.

Police said his death was being treated as "unexplained".

Two women, aged 23 and 49, and a man, 32, have been interviewed under caution. No arrests have been made.

Further tests were due to be carried out after a post-mortem examination proved inconclusive.

Mr Campion died at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.

"An investigation is continuing to examine the care he received before and during the medical emergency," a police spokesperson said.
