Boy, 8, died of 'allergic reaction' in Norfolk

An eight-year-old boy died after suffering what is thought to have been a severe allergic reaction, an inquest heard.

Edward Debbage, of Mill Hill, Salhouse, suffered from a range of allergies, Norfolk Coroner's Court heard.

On 10 February, he developed problems breathing. His father Matthew administered medication and an ambulance was called.

But, Edward died the same day of anaphylactic shock, the inquest heard.

Assistant Coroner David Osborne opened the inquest and said it would be up to the full inquest to decide the cause of Edward's death.

The inquest was adjourned until a review of the case in April.
