Man 'critical' after assault in Norwich nightclub district

Tombland in Norwich Police have said the man is in a critical but stable condition in Addenbrooke's Hospital

A man is in a critical condition in hospital with serious head injuries after being attacked outside a bar in Norwich.

The victim, who is in his late 30s and from the Norwich area, was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge after the assault at about 04:15 BST.

Police said he was injured after falling to the pavement outside All Bar One in Tombland.

A man, in his late 20s from the Great Yarmouth area, has been arrested.
