Firearms confiscated after gunshots fired from Swaffham house

Firearms have been seized by police and a teenager arrested after reports gunshots were fired from a house.

Armed police units were called to Carter Close in Swaffham, Norfolk, at about 13:15 GMT.

A 16-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear or violence and criminal damage.

Police said the confiscated weapons were thought to be an air rifle and air pistol.

The teenager was being questioned at King's Lynn police station.
