Norwich murder: Man charged over pensioner death
A man has been charged with murder after a pensioner's body was found at her home in Norwich on Sunday.
A post-mortem examination revealed Pauline King, who was in her 80s, died of injuries from a "sustained assault" and had been sexually assaulted at the property in The Avenues.
Alexander Kerry, 23, of Kinghorn Road, Norwich, has been charged with murder and one count of sexual assault.
He is due to appear at the city's magistrates' court on Thursday.
