Crash badly damages three houses in Higham Ferrers

People living in three terrace houses in Northamptonshire have been made homeless after a car crashed into one of them early on Saturday.

Structural engineers called to College Street in Higham Ferrers declared three properties unsafe after the crash.

The fire service cut a man free from the car and he was taken to hospital but his condition is not known.

The British Red Cross were called to help the residents from the unsafe homes to find temporary accommodation.
