John Zebedee admits killing father near Towcester

A man will stand trial for the murder of his 94-year-old father after the prosecution refused to accept him pleading guilty to manslaughter.

John Zebedee, 54, of Waverley Road, Reading, is accused of murdering Harry Zebedee.

The elderly man was found dead in his thatched cottage in Slapton, near Towcester, in February.

Mr Zebedee appeared before Northampton Crown Court on Tuesday and his trial will take place at a later date.
